When was the last time you wanted to go out and sit down, not just for the food or drinks themselves, but simply because of the ambiance of the restaurant? Go to Eastern Kille, and that is the feeling you will be left with for months to come. The drinks are beautiful, the bartenders are friendly, and the atmosphere is transcendent. I have no notes. Every experience has been wonderful.

This place was pretty dope. Got the mojito milk punch, street fare, and the billy goat. The first 2? No notes (they were really great). Normally for cheese washes I've found that they're very strong in flavor, but the billy goat was surprisingly tamped down; it's there, but you have to look for it. It's hiding behind the lemon. It's very approachable though for folks not used to that sort of flavor, but I'd suggest dialing the lemon down a little because the washed gin is fairly mild. Not a bad drink, but it could really shine more by giving the gin a little more room. If you order it, maybe ask for a little less lemon, or half the amount of lemon. If I visit again(I'm from out of town) I'll try that. Cool decor, kind people, everything super clean. Bartenders tag teamed a smoked old fashioned of sorts; really nice teamwork. When I was here it seemed like they cared about what they were doing, so that's nice. I also got an industry discount. I think they said like after 10pm. I think all cocktails were half off. Great deal. Unsure if only Mondays or all days.

Esme was absolutely INCREDIBLE in every way. Great drinks, great personality, and created the best environment. Calvin, Daniel and Keegan were also such stars. This is truly one of the best spots in Grand Rapids!!!

Wow, this place is awesome! The vibe here is excellent. Every cocktail we had was very good, and the flaming Mai Tai is super fun. The bartender was Morgan, who was a delight. We will absolutely return anytime we are in this area, which might be more often now!

My coworkers and I came here for cocktail hour and were greeted right away. The cocktail list was two pages, which was nice because you could easily see all the drinks and not have too many choices like other places may have. All of our drinks were spot on and absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for something elegant but casual. *also note that I didn’t see food anywhere so you may want to grab something first
